What is peace? The only law we need
«A human being respects a human being.»
We think of peace as something governments sign. But a treaty holds only as long as people want it. Real peace starts earlier: when one human being looks at another and recognises them as an equal.
In 1948, after two world wars, humanity wrote it down. Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says we are all born free and equal in dignity and rights, and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. It is all there: if you respect the human being you do not make war, you fight hunger, you care for your land.
That is why EXISTO has only one law: “A human being respects a human being.” It is not a command, it is a definition: whoever does not respect another stops being what they claim to be.
No one is born anyone's enemy: we learn it later, and we can unlearn it. No one is a beast forever, no one is human once and for all. We choose every day, one action at a time.
One voice saying “I exist” is a madman. A million voices claiming their existence is a political act. That is how peace begins: from below.

Do you exist? Say it too.
EXISTO does one thing: it lets you say it. You receive the passport of humankind and join the line of those who are here. No ads, no rankings, thirty seconds.
I am a human being. You are a human being.
